Sandra was a rare gem and treasured by many. Her star will shine bright in the sky and we will always remember her spirit and dedication. I spoke with her on the phone a number of times and her spirit and attitude were amazing. She had such an eye for painting with all of her mediums. Her heart and dedication to various rescues were immeasurable. She helped so many with her painting and donations to raise money for rescues. She also told great stories, like the Subaru stories and she even had a contest for whomever could name the date for her to get her car back. She always said wonderful things about Andrew. A couple who loves each other and admire each other is another wonderful gem. I am blessed to have known Sandra and I will honor and remember her always. — Virginia Slowik (Huntington Sta., NY)
