Dear Jamie and family Walt and I are so saddened by the tragic loss of our teaching colleague and friend Bill. He was a kind and gentle man who was passionate about his job, who loved his students and wanted the best for all at Bozeman High. Though his physical presence is gone, his legacy remains in the memory of the hundreds of students he taught through the years. May the memories of all the times sustain you through this most tragic time. You are in our thoughts and prayers. — Walt and Edee Russell (Mandan, ND)

Through participation together on the off-season work crew at Clydehurst Christian Ranch, I had the opportunity to get acquainted with Bill, enjoy his friendly ways, and share rides together from Bozeman to/from CCR. His dedication to his volunteer painting work was a wonderful inspiration to others on the work team. Bill also included me in his school testing tasks, which I continue in today despite having moved from Montana. Bill’s example continues to inspire for helping others. He is greatly missed. — Jim Peterson (Moscow, MT)

I did not know Mr. Franks very well personally, but he was a kind face in my past that I will really miss. My grandparents lived two doors down from Mr. Franks for many years. I have many fond memories of seeing Mr. Franks around the neighborhood and selling girl scout cookies to him each year. Please accept my condolences during this incredibly difficult time. — Brittany (Maroney) Dobie (Bozeman, MT)

My condolences to the entire Franks family. I met Bill when I was in high school - although I never had him for a teacher, we frequently talked. Then after high school, we always picked up where we left off. He was a kind, thoughtful, respectful and godly man. I envision that God greeted him with open arms and "Well done, my son". You are in my thoughts and prayers. Nancy Hostetter (Mandan, ND)

I still can't believe it's true about Clyde! And I know you're still reeling from losing Rhonda. My heart just aches for all of you! May the Lord comfort you and keep you in His care as you process all of this. And may you get thru it still knowing that the Lord is good regardless of our circumstances, that He loves us more than anything, that He is still on the throne and that all things DO work together for good to them that love the Lord, even when we can't immediately see it. Love and prayers to the family!! Mary Quesenberry (White Sulphur Springs, MT)
