Online Condolences for Steven Aamold ( October 14, 1952 ~ January 01, 2018)

February 06, 2018
I was saddened by the news of Steve's death. I offer my condolences to his family. I knew Steve for many years and considered him a good friend. I had an apartment in the Evergreen for 20 years and always enjoyed visiting with Steve as well as appreciating his keen sense of how to fix things. He helped me out with various things at that apartment innumerable times over the course of that 20 years. He was a throwback to an earlier era, someone who had an innate sense of mechanics and how to fix and repair; a jack-of-all-trades type. That kind of skill is in increasingly short supply in this day and age. More than that though, I always enjoyed his warm greeting and kind wit when we would see each other. He was always such a reliable source of enjoyment and he brightened my day when I ran into him. The Owners of that building will find the seasoned skills that Steve brought to his work hard to come by, probably irreplacable. I will miss those occasional chance encounters with Steve around town as well, even after I had moved from the Evergreen, seeing him at Heebs shopping for what was no doubt going to be a great meal he was about to cook (I was unaware of his culinary interest but am not surprised), or whatever the occasion, running into him was always a joy. He was a great guy. I'll miss him. Rob French (Bozeman, MT)

Gayle, Rhonda and Don, I can’t tell you how sorry I am to hear about Steve’s passing. He was a good friend in high school and when him and I spent the summer in Jackson Hole the summer we graduated! Good times! You guys are in my thoughts and prayers! Tim Rytting (Chino Valley, AZ)

My condolences to the family of Mr Steven Aamold. At this difficult time take comfort in knowing that God has promised to reunite us with our loved ones by means of the resurrection. John 5:25-29, "....the hour is coming when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God.....and come out to a resurrection of life." I hope these verses help ease your pain. Deborah D (, MT)
