Online Condolences for Paul Visscher ( December 24, 1923 ~ February 28, 2018)

March 16, 2018
We send our special sincere thoughts and prayers to the family. Paul was special as he delivered our first child (possibly his first delivery in private practice). Many hours were spent with Paul, Wendy and their young family in Bozeman. Great memories. Bill & Ramona Holt (Lolo, MT)

My sincere condolences to your family during this time. John 11:35 assures us that Jesus understands our pain during our loss and has the power to erase death forever. To find out more regarding the hope for the dead visit and search "death". — V. Webster (, MS)

My deepest sympathy to the Visscher family. My dad and Dr. Visscher were good friends and Doc was very gracious to accept my dad as a patient - wasn't a far reach since Don Borgeson aka Pepi the Clown never really grew up! Ernst, I know my dad had a place in his heart for you and I know that he would be saddened by your loss. I hope you continue to soar with the memories of you parents and my dad too! Janet Borgeson (Bozeman, MT)

Dr. Visscher was my pediatrician for a time back in the 1970s and a longtime friend of my parents Dr. William and Mary (Cathy) Dorgan. I will always remember him fondly as a most wonderfully kind and compassionate physician and individual of great integrity. My sincerest condolences to his children and grandchildren. — Diane Dorgan (Bozeman, MT)

It was a real blessing and joy to know and practice with Paul at Medical Associates in Bozeman and to continue our friendship over the years. What a true gentleman and such a gentle man. His gift to the children he cared for lives on in them and their families. — John Patterson, MD (Bozeman, MT)

Paul was my stepfather for 49 years. When our mother, Saralee, passed away on Jan 2, 2018 in Chandler, Arizona, it was a great comfort to talk to Paul. My thoughts and prayers are with him, his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. — Constance Currie (Phoenix, AZ)

To the Visscher Family, Please accept my sincere condolences. During this difficult time, may fond memories of your dear loved ones help to ease your sorrow. May the "peace of God that surpasses all understanding" strengthen you by means of His Word. (Philippians 4:7) — D Howard (, MD)

I will sincerely miss my friend Paul Visscher. I knew him through the Gallatin Gardeners Club, and enjoyed many conversations with him about his long and interesting life. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Frank Erickson (Bozeman, MT)

"I just wanted to thank you for all your help with my dad's funeral.  Planning a funeral can be very stressful, but you took such care that we were never confused or stressed about anything.  It was so easy to call and talk with you and ask questions.  You presented all the options to us clearly to let us decide about things, and then you made them happen at the service so we didn't have to do anything.  You are so very good at your job."
