Online Condolences for Mary Burkhart ( February 28, 1934 ~ April 05, 2018)

June 17, 2018
To the Family , I would like to express how sorry to hear of your loss. It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love. And when it happens, the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold your loved one can be most difficult to bear. That pain is not necessarily erased by being told that your loved one is up in heaven. Jesus Christ promised that millions now dead will live again on this earth and have the prospect of remaining on it forever under peaceful, paradisaic conditions. (Luke 23:43; John 3:16; 17:3; compare Psalm 37:29 and Matthew 5:5.) Since Jesus made the promise, it is safe to assume that he is willing to fulfill it. These promises have consoled me when my father died. Hopefully, they can provide some hope and comfort to your family. Frederick Nikonchuk Jr (Newberry, SC)

I am very sorry for your loss. We read in the Bible that Jehovah God will: "Swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” (Isaiah 25:8) Like a father who removes the cause of his children’s suffering and dries their eyes, Jehovah takes great joy in bringing death to nothing! Jesus cooperates with him. We read at 1 Corinthians 15:22: “In the Christ all will be made alive." https://www.jw.org/en/publications/videos/#en/mediaitems/VODMinistryTools/pub-imv_4_VIDEO Veronica (, MS)

To the Burkhart Family, I am so sorry for your loss. May fond memories that you shared with your dear loved one, help to ease the sadness. May the "peace of God" strengthen you during this difficult time.-Philippians 4:7 — D Howard (, MD)

"We greatly appreciate your help with the service.  Rachelle, your guidance and thoughtfulness made difficult decisions easier and helped to personalize the service.  Marilyn, you went above and beyond, securing an ideal reception location and helping throughout the luncheon.  T.J., thank you for your help during the service and the transition to the reception.  The DVD of photos & music will be loved for years to come.  We were all very pleased with dad's service and know we couldn't have done it without your help."
