To the Christian Family, Please accept my sincere condolences. May your treasured memories that you shared with your dear loved one; help to ease the sadness. "May the God who gives peace" sustain you in this time of sorrow.-Romans 15:33 — D Howard (, MD)

To the Family , I would like to express how sorry to hear of your loss. It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love. And when it happens, the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold your loved one can be most difficult to bear. That pain is not necessarily erased by being told that your loved one is up in heaven. Jesus Christ promised that millions now dead will live again on this earth and have the prospect of remaining on it forever under peaceful, paradisaic conditions. (Luke 23:43; John 3:16; 17:3; compare Psalm 37:29 and Matthew 5:5.) Since Jesus made the promise, it is safe to assume that he is willing to fulfill it. These promises have consoled me when my father died. Hopefully, they can provide some hope and comfort to your family. Frederick N (, SC)

Mrs. Christian and family, I would frequently see Lynn at the hospital when he was a volunteer there. He was always pleasant and enjoyable to chat with. He added a lot of sunshine to the lives of both patients and staff. Wishing you all some of that sunshine. From a retired physician. Patrick Holland, M.D. (Bozeman, MT)

"Thank you for your caring and efficient service on the death of my husband.  I appreciated your handling of the necessary, but tedious paperwork that accompanies every death.  It was a relief to me to leave those details in your capable hands."
