I grew up very close to Jesus and the Acosta musical family under the tutelage of their father Chuchin. Los Belicenos were the best local band at the time as they won Battle of the Bands at Memorial Park year after year. It was Jesus’s awesome flawless performing skill on his saxophone which gave them the edge over Lord Rhaburn, Glenn Bood and the Messengers. I still vividly remember him playing the incredible saxophone instrumental Sax Cantabile, one of the hardest pieces to play on a sax, but Jesus performed it with extreme precision, flawlessly and perfect precision. His skill was incomparable and matched any of the best international saxophonists including the legendary Fausto Pappetti. It was at this time that Los Aragon reigned in Mexico and were in many ways the gold standard for dance bands. Belicenos and Professionals were just as good. I was given the opportunity to sell the first set of instruments to Professionals when they regrouped. It was all Yamaha instruments. This included guitars, organ, drums, amplifiers, and of course the tenor and alto saxophones played by Jesus. We will remember his great music and his incomparable performances. My Blessings and Condolences to the entire Acosta Family. The Acosta Family was legendary in the field of music in Belize. The Bumblebees under the able tutelage of Don Chuchin beat the RKB's(My Band) in the junior division at the Battle of the Bands in 1965. Very fond memories. Manuel and Tony were of course a vital part of Jesus's musical dominance on the music scene in Belize for many years. We miss those marvelous days. Francis Gegg (Belize, MT)

So sorry for the loss of your husband, father, grandfather & friend. It is obvious from the kind expressions that Mr. Acosta will be sadly missed yet, fondly remembered. As you cherish the many memories of Jesus, reflect on the time when aging, sickness & death will be conditions of the past! (Revelation 21:3,4; 1Corinthians 15: 26) This is what our loving God Jehovah has promised & Jesus Christ himself guaranteed the hope of seeing our loved ones again. (John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 26:19) May God’s word provide you the comfort to endure at this time & each day to come, as we await the fulfillment of his promises! A. Marie Casey (formerly of , IN)

Dear Family, I am so sorry for your loss. May God’s promise bring you comfort. There will be “a new earth... and He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore... I am making all things new.” Revelation 21:1-5 D. Hetrick (, MT)
