Marc Lauermann

February 3, 1972 ~ March 26, 2017

Service: April 02, 2017 1:00 PM
   Location: Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service

Marc R. Lauermann passed away March 26, 2017.  He is sadly missed by his children, Hadley and Benson Lauermann; mother, Carolyn Lauermann of Oakdale, MN; and sister, Jennifer Lauermann (Brandon Carlson) of Blaine, MN; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.  Marc has now joined his father, Rudy Lauermann.

Marc was born in Robbinsdale, Minnesota on February 3, 1972 and grew up in Stillwater, Minnesota and Brussels, Belgium.  He attended Colorado State University where he met his ex-wife, Kristin Lauermann of Bozeman, Montana.  He moved to Bozeman in 1993 to work as Ski Patrol/Instructor at Big Sky and the Yellowstone Club, and as a white-water raft guide.  He then attained his realtor license and worked for Prudential/Berkshire Hathaway in Big Sky, Montana.

Marc was active in the youth hockey program, coaching boys’and girls’ teams.  He played on the Lumberjacks adult hockey team.  He enjoyed many sports including hockey, skiing, rafting the Yellowstone, trail running, and golf.  He especially enjoyed being active with his children.  Music was an important part of Marc’s life; he played guitar and enjoyed attending blues performances in the Bozeman area.

Memorials are preferred to the Hadley and Benson Lauermann College Fund, 3429 Monida Street, Bozeman, MT 59718.

A Celebration of Marc’s Life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service.  The service will be also be available for viewing at http://webcasts.lifetributes.com/791281
