Patricia Tandy

July 10, 1933 ~ April 07, 2017

Patricia A. Tandy, 83, passed away April 7, 2017, in Bozeman, MT.

Patty was born July 10, 1933, in Livingston, Montana, to John and Helen Spannring.  She spent her early life and received her education in Livingston.  In August 1952, she married Jack Tandy at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Livingston.  Patty worked as a telephone operator and also owned and operated the Park Laundromat with Jack for several years.  After retiring in Whitesboro, Texas, they returned to Montana in 2003 to be closer to family, particularly Patty’s sister and best friend, Ginny Sigler.  She especially enjoyed frequent visits with her niece and her husband, Marsha and Marshall White, and nephew and his wife, Mark and Karyn Sigler.

Patty enjoyed her family and the mountains and lakes of Montana.  She had a great love for dogs, as well as animals and bird of all kinds.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; her parents; and her two brothers and two sisters.  She is survived by her three sons, Bill (Susan), Joe (Stacy), Brett (Dana); five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Cremation has taken place.  A graveside memorial service will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Livingston this summer, with the date to be determined.  Patty’s family would like to thank the staff at Gallatin Rest Home and Hospice of Bozeman Health for their compassionate and loving care.  If you wish to make a donation in Patty’s name, the family suggests donations to Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter, 1549 E. Cameron Bridge Rd., Bozeman, MT 59718.
