Florence Malcott

Florence June Malcott, 93, of Belgrade passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017.

Florence was born June 28, 1924 in Anaconda, Montana to Peter and Caroline (Mazza) Crncevich.  She graduated from Granite County High School in Philipsburg, Montana. 

She married Warren Malcott in Vancouver, Washington on March 27, 1944.  They lived in Great Falls, Augusta, and Choteau where they owned Malcott Body Shop and Florence was bookkeeper.  She was also the bookkeeper for Citizen State Bank.  They moved to Colstrip in 1996.

Florence was active in the VFW and American Legion.  She also enjoyed her time at the Senior Center.  She loved sewing and spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Gary (Janet) Malcott and Steve (Leanna) Malcott; grandchildren, Chad, Adam, Kelly, and Shelly Malcott; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Ann Mahood.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Warren; brothers, Bill and Maury Crncevich; and sister, DeeDee Cunningham.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 16 at Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service. 

Donations in Florence’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011.
