Margaret 'Peggy' Petersen

Margaret “Peggy” Jean Petersen, 69, of Bozeman passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018.  She was born June 8, 1949 in Portland, Maine to Jack and Dolores (Davidsen) McCatherin.

Peggy received her BFA in Art from University of Massachusetts, then moved to Orinda, California, where she was a proud member of the community for over 30 years.  As an Electrician, she was the first female in the Local 595 Union.  She lived in Bozeman for the past seven years.

Peggy is survived by her children, Robert Petersen and Kristina Petersen; sister, Barbara Bakwin; brother, Jack McCatherin; and her beloved Papillon, Chance; as well as caregivers, Melissa Charles, Ceci Mason, Eilys Malee, Hannah Sewell, and Megan Marsh.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Harry McCatherin.
