Richard Moore

May 22, 1935 ~ November 28, 2018

Richard L. Moore, 83, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in Bozeman.  He was born on May 22, 1935 in Lewiston, Montana.  Rich was raised in Lewistown, as an only child to Lyle and Annabelle (Perso) Moore.

He served a short stint in the U.S. Army and then went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Education.  His career included teaching, coaching and serving as a high school guidance counselor at the Yellowstone Boys Ranch.

As a coach, he was naturally into fitness and heath, so he enjoyed running, playing basketball, lifting weights and sightseeing in many of America’s national parks.

Richard has two daughters, Kelly of Bozeman and Michele (Julian) Bosman who lives half a world away in Sydney, Australia.  He is also survived by two grandchildren, Chloe and Jack Bosman of Sydney, Australia.

Long after he retired, Rich moved to the Bozeman area in 2016 to be near his daughter, Kelly.

No services are planned at this time.
