Stanley Gromek

March 30, 1922 ~ January 07, 2019

Stanley F. Gromek, age 96, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 in Bozeman, Montana. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the middle child of five, and oldest son.  He lived most of his life in Philadelphia and the surrounding area, moving to Bozeman in 2010.

A proud WWII, Navy Veteran, he met the love of his life, Mary, on a blind date.  He often said the best thing he ever did was marry Mary.  He was a wonderful, loving, hardworking husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, who was thankful for all that God had given him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Sophie; his wife, Mary; grandson, Jonathan; sisters, Helen, Lillian, and Bertha; and brother, Ed.

He is survived by his son, Jack (Jodi); daughter, Patricia (Nicholas) Tomasetti; grandsons, Michael Stanley and Michael Alexander; and great-grandson, Kaden Kenneth.

A memorial service will take place in early spring in Pennsylvania where he will be laid to rest in Saint Peter and Paul Cemetery with Mary.

You are our sunshine and you will be missed and remembered.
