Traditional Burial Service
A traditional ceremony is where the decedent is present at the ceremony, with earth burial or entombment following.
Full-Service Funeral Ceremony
This usually includes a public visitation and ceremony or gathering with the decedent present—giving family and friends the opportunity to “say good-bye.”
Memorial Ceremony
Similar to a Traditional Ceremony, the decedent may or may not be present and the burial can take place prior to the ceremony.
Graveside Ceremony
Family and friends gather at the final resting place. A visitation at the funeral home often precedes meeting at the final resting place.
Immediate Burial
The funeral home oversees the burial of the decedent without a ceremony or gathering. Prior to burial, viewing is still available with this option.
Green / Natural Burial
A burial in which most aspects of burial remain as “natural” as possible to ensure a more rapid return to the elements. It includes non-formaldehyde-based care and sanitizing procedures, natural fiber caskets, and no burial vault. This choice still allows for viewing of your loved one and a farewell ceremony.
