So long Jim. We have not spoken to each other since graduation. Your happy demeanor and carefree spirit will remain with me forever. Rest in peace. Wally Fu (Holland, MI)

Mary Jo, Megan, and Molly. We are so sorry to hear this news. Jim was such an insightful and understanding principal during his many years at Irving. He was certainly a formative part of our lives. Our most sincere condolences: the Maifeld-Carucci family: Iliana and Akeo Maifeld-Carucci, Mary Maifeld, and Dr. Larry Carucci Laurence M. Carucci (Bozeman, MT)

To Mary Jo, Megan, and Molly, I’m so sorry. Jim was my classmate at St. John’s and a lifelong friend. Such a wonderful, intelligent, kind man. We kept in touch over the years via Christmas letters and at occasional SJU reunions. He had invited me to visit him this week on my first trip to Bozeman, but he died the morning I arrived. I will miss him a lot. Tony Zahorik (Nashville , TN)

To the Bruggeman Family, Please accept my sincere condolences. May your treasured memories of moments shared with James, help to ease the sorrow. May the God of all comfort, who "heals the brokenhearted," sustain you during this difficult time.-Psalm 147:3 — D Howard (, MD)

"Thank you seems too inadequate to express the true feelings in my heart for the way you handled the military service.  I know he would have approved of your efficient and caring manner and so do I.  Thanks again, too, for your kindness.  I shall always recommend your services to all I come in contact with."
