May 20, 2019
To the entire Dighans Family: I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Kay earlier this year. We were graduation classmates in Bozeman and stayed in contact through the years. She will be remembered most certainly for the huge heart she had for everyone. All the lives she touched created memories that will live in the hearts of so many for all time. My deepest thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. — Linda Estes Cogle (Harpers Ferry, WV)

Kay was an amazing woman....but you all know that. We were so blessed to have her as one of our girls 3rd grade teacher and I had such fun volunteering in her class. And in later years to continue into a friendship and loved visiting with her in her scentsy "room". My prayers are with you all today. Unfortunately I am unable to attend her service. Hugs to you all. — Bonnie Gower (Belgrade, MT)

Rick and Andra, our sympathy goes out to you and your families. We are so saddened by your loss. Kay touched our hearts and I know so many others, with her laughter and love. She will be missed by so many. We are in Nevada, so unfortunately we won't be able to be at the Events Center, but we know there will be so many others there. Just know we are thinking of you and hope you will be comforted by all the family and friends that will be there. Our love and prayers, Gene and Diane Spranget — Diane Spranget (Bozeman, MT)

I met Kay Swenson, the jovial, creative Kindergarten teacher, while I was a new teacher in Belgrade, Montana. As single gals of the same age,I recall we would sign up to take tickets at the Belgrade basketball games so we could use the money to go out on the town later. When she met Rick, her single days we were over. Kay was ready to be a mom and wife. But, my oh my, she was a force to be reckoned with. You always knew when that blond walked into the room. I shall remember her laughter as it forever is imbedded in my memory. Her ability to be creative and get things done spun circles around all of us regular folks. I am not sure if she slept much. Fare thee well, amazing Kay. The love for her parents, who passed far too soon, sustains my sorrow as I envision their Heavenly reunion. Blessed be, all who loved her. — Sally Peters Aschim (Sunburst, MT)

I'm speechless! Totally heartbroken, as I will miss you Kay! I met her thru our Scentsy careers and we struck up a wonderful friendship. Like many others whom were blessed to have known her, its hard to say goodbye, so I will say rest in peace our sweet, wonderful, amazing Kay. She made a huge difference in this world and you are that Shining Star! You will be missed, but never forgotten! To the family, my thoughts & prayers are with you all during this time. With much love. — Holly Wagner (Layton, UT)

So sorry to hear of Kay's passing, but I am selfish enough to be relieved that her suffering is over. What a fearful fighter she was. She went down swinging. She was a classmate through high school and always had a smile for you. When we lost our son she showed up with a variety of Scentsy products and a beautiful sympathy card. She had an inner glow that everyone could feel. I hope all the good memories outweigh these days of grief and sorrow. So long, Kay! Save us a spot! See you soon! — Terry Groth (Kihei, HI)

Her compassion and grace was undeniable. With all my love, — Shane Miller (Las Vegas, NV)

To All the Dighans Family: Our heartfelt wishes for the Peace that passes all understanding for each of you as you journey through this time of grief. Kay is remembered for her "not so forgotten" kindnesses..She organized meals for my family as I recovered from burns from an explosion in my home so long ago(1998). She did this with humility..not seeking accolades for herself..What a Christian Witness to her Savior! The Stulc Family — Berniece Stulc (Belgrade, MT)
