I met Amalie through the Belgrade Women's Club when we first moved to Belgrade. She was gracious and kind to me as a new resident and her enthusiasm helped me integrate into our new home. — Darla Joyner (Three Forks, MT)

To the Family, I am deeply sorry to hear of your loss. Losing my parent has been difficult for me. However, I found this scripture helpful. At 2 Cor 1:3,4 it says: “3Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;4Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.” Hopefully thinking about what these verses state can help your family during this time as it has for me. — Fred N (, SC)

Offering my sincere condolences to the Border Family. May your precious memories of Amalie, help to ease the sadness. May the God of all comfort, who "heals the brokenhearted," sustain you in this time of sorrow.-Psalm 147:3 — D Howard (, MD)

"Chris, how do I ever find the words to properly or adequately thank you for your support and kindness during a very trying time.  You are a very special young man and have a wonderful way of making a very difficult time much more easy.  It was very comforting to deal with you.  You are a natural at your position.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
