Service: September 22, 2018 3:00 to 6:00 PM
   Location: Holiday Inn, West Yellowstone

Susie Whitman, 74, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018, in Bozeman, MT.  She was born October 7, 1943, to John and Erna (Rast) Reints in Jeffers, MT.  She graduated from Ennis High School and then attended beauty school.  However, she spent most of her life in West Yellowstone.

She met Clyde Whitman when he attended high school in Ennis. They married October 13, 1962, in Jeffers and moved to West Yellowstone where they raised their two sons. Susie and Clyde both enjoyed Wolverine football and traveled with the team when Tim and Bob played.  She was a member of the Community Church and Eastern Star, and she loved to read.

Susie fought a long and brave battle with cancer. She always had a positive attitude and smile.  Susie was “One of a Kind”!!

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Erna Reints; husband, Clyde Whitman; and sister-in-law, Millie (Whitman) Counts.  Susie is survived by her sons, Tim Whitman and Bob Whitman; sister-in-law, Connie Flynn; brothers, Elso (Marlene) Reints and Jack Reints; and two grandsons, Austin Whitman and Hunter Whitman.

"Thank you for all your help and support during the death of my mother.  I was very impressed with your staff throughout this difficult process.  With your help we were able to say good-bye to our mother in a very meaningful way.  Our loss is still so new, but our thanks to you for the care you showed."
