October 27, 1965 ~ November 11, 2018

Service: November 17, 2018 1:00 PM
   Location: Belgrade Church of Christ

Charlene Marie MacMaster passed away November 11, 2018, in Bozeman, Montana.  Charlene was born October 27, 1965, in Iowa City, Iowa. Shortly afterwards, she moved to Montana, where she finally found her home in Great Falls with Glenn and Rosemary (Cookson) Kaurin.

In her teenage years, Charlene enjoyed spending time at Camp Marshall on Flathead Lake where she later became a counselor. She made lifelong friendships from all of her church youth group activities.

In 1993, she married Nathan Tolson with whom she had two children, Haleigh Tolson and Patrick Tolson.

On April 7, 2001, Charlene married the love of her life, Cary MacMaster, in Belgrade.  Charlene enjoyed camping and loved working with children in the Belgrade community. Family was especially important to Charlene; particularly spending time with her grandson.

She is survived by her husband, Cary of Belgrade; son, Patrick of Portland, OR; daughter, Haleigh of Belgrade; mother, Rosemary Kent (Michael) of Lewistown and Florida; twin sister, Charlotte Haggerty (Patrick) La Paz, Mexico; sisters, Cathy LaVerdure of Augusta and Kathleen Russell of Anaconda; brother, Michael Kaurin, Georgia; her grandson, Luke Covey; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn and brother, John.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 17 at Belgrade Church of Christ at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated.

"Thank you for all you did for us regarding our Dad's funeral.  I know many times you went the extra mile for us and we appreciate it.  As hard as it was, you made the planning easier.  Chris, you have a gift and may you continue to bless people.  We will always be grateful for you."
