Stacey Gilchrist Lamb

January 3, 1983 ~ January 25, 2019

Service: February 16, 2019 5:00 - 7:00 PM
Location: Serenity Springs in Ben Wheeler, TX

Our beloved daughter, sister and aunt, Stacey Gilchrist Lamb, was born January 3, 1983 in Tyler, Texas and passed away at the age of 36 on January 25, 2019 in Gallatin County, Montana. She was raised in Ben Wheeler and graduated from Van High School. Stacey continued her education at Tyler Junior College and received her degree in LEED Commercial Interior Design from the Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design in Colorado.

She worked for Door Control Services before moving to Colorado with her former husband Patrick Lamb. In 2017, she moved to Montana and just this last fall started an artisanal wreath business. Stacey loved singing, laughing, worldwide travel, the beauty of nature, and gracing many with her artistic talents.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Stephanie Leigh Hall, and mother, Sharon Lee Burnop Gilchrist.

Survivors include her father, Don Gilchrist and his wife Sandy; three siblings, Summer Gilchrist Haltom of Ben Wheeler, Shea Gilchrist of Austin, and Paxton Gilchrist and wife Laura of Ben Wheeler; three nephews she adored, Reed Haltom, Aiden Ragsdale and Marshall Gilchrist; multiple aunts and uncles; and many friends she held close to her heart.

A Celebration of Life will be held February 16th at Serenity Springs in Ben Wheeler, TX, 5:00-7:00pm. There will be speakers sharing stories and anecdotes, music, and karaoke, commencing with a lantern release. We encourage your participation in the storytelling and karaoke.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to "Make A Gift In Memory" in Stacey Gilchrist Lamb's name to Best Friends Animal Society, www.bestfriends.org, a no-kill sanctuary for companion animals.

"Thank you again for the very special service for our Dad.  We will forever appreciate your kindness, hard-work, and your ability to make his celebration of life "just right."  Everything captured our Dad's good life right down to the 'can of Coke' and the special music...wonderful memories."
