Ronald Dean Mendenhall, 67, of Bozeman passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019.  He was born February 13, 1951 in Ashton, Idaho to Art and Alice (Hill) Bay.

Ron graduated from Beaverhead County High School in Dillon, Montana, and then from Everett Community College in Washington with a bachelor’s degree in business.  He was a Private 1st Class SP5 in the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War.

He married Cuc Thi in Bien Hoa, Vietnam, and they had one son, Ron Khaun Dean Mendenhall.  The family lived in Fountain Hills, AZ and Las Vegas, NV, before moving to Bozeman.

Ron enjoyed golfing, fishing, and camping.  He also enjoyed motorcycles and any opportunity to travel.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Cuc Thi Mendenhall; son, Ron Khaun Dean Mendenhall; sister, Debe Bay; and brothers, Chris Bay and Gary Bay.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 13 at 1:00 P.M. at Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service.
