Anne S. Dykema, 84, passed away on February 9, 2019, at Parkhaven Retirement Community in Manhattan, MT.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 14, 2019, 10 am at Bethel Christian Reformed Church followed by the funeral service at 11 am.

Anne Sybesma was born on November 26, 1934, in Clearwater, CA, the 8th of 9 children, to Charles and Jennie Sybesma.  She was raised on a dairy and suffered the loss of her father when she was 5 years old. She graduated from Bellflower Christian School and attended Bellflower Christian Reformed Church.  In 1953, Anne met her future husband, Donald Dykema, on a blind date.  They married on October 27, 1954, in Bellflower, CA.  Shortly after their marriage they moved to Don’s hometown of Manhattan, MT.  Anne got a job at Manhattan State Bank. They built a good life on the farm they purchased just south of Manhattan and raised 3 children there.  Karl Don, Debra Kay, and Kenneth Scott.

Anne was a life-long believer in Jesus Christ as her Saviour.  She attended regular services at Bethel Christian Reformed Church and was involved in weekly bible studies, choir, and ladies aid. Anne loved the Lord, her family, and her community with all her heart.

Anne is preceded in death by her husband, Don, in June 2016; her brothers, Durk, Ben, Butch, Richard, Bill, and Sam; sister, Wilma; her brothers-in-law, Hans, Ralph, Jake, Jim, Bill, and Herman; and sisters-in-laws, Nellie, Alice, Elsie, and Wilma.

She is survived by her children, Karl, Deb (Wayne) Biondi and Ken; sister, Helen;  grandchildren, Lauren, Christine, Deanna, Skylar (Tiffany),  Kendi, Sawyer, Sutton, Ava, and Cash; and sisters-in-laws, Shirley, Freda, Marilyn, Karen, and Ann.

Special thanks to the staff at Parkhaven for all the years of exceptional care of our mom. Thanks also to Compassus Hospice Services for their care of mom in her last months.
