Theresa Mae Sather passed away on July 24, 2019, in Bozeman, MT. Theresa was born on December 25, 1924, in Baylor, MT, to Kon C. Fuhrman and Emma (Miller) Fuhrman.

Theresa attended Glasgow High School and Northern Montana College, and lived her life in several places, including, Larslan, MT, Glasgow, MT, Appache-Junction AZ, Fairfield, MT, and Bozeman, MT.  She had several occupations in her lifetime, including mother, housewife, and taught school for seven years.

Theresa was involved with many community activities such as Cowbells, Red Hat, First Baptist Church and Degree of Honor. Theresa and Menford enjoyed traveling the country, sight seeing and spending time with friends and family.  She continued to travel and attend her children, grand-children and great- grandchildrens’ weddings, concerts, graduations, sporting events and more.  Theresa was able to enjoy many excursions while living in Bozeman with her dear friend Helen.  She always enjoyed her outings to have her hair and nails done, finishing up with a quick trip to Burger King for her favorite “Whopper Jr.”  While she will always be remembered for her love of cards, bingo, and penny slots, we will also remember the many gifts of her crocheting, needle point and embroidering.

She is survived by her daughter, Elaine R. Watterud (Donald); sons, Menford “Bud” L. Sather (Diane) and Larry D. Sather (Susan); sisters, Hilda Rosecrans and Adeline Mitchell; nine grandchildren and twenty two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kon and Emma Fuhrman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Menford Sather, and sisters Helen Rennick, and Imojean Helgeson.

Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Glasgow, MT, on Saturday, August 3, at 11:00 AM.  A visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, at the Bell Mortuary in Glasgow. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery.
