Harold Guille

August 16, 1942 ~ October 01, 2019

Service: October 07, 2019 1:00 P.M.
   Location: The Bridge at Belgrade

On October 1, 2019, Harold Hugh Guille, 77, went home to be with his Lord and Savior.  He was born August 16, 1942 in Hayward, California to Glenn and Violet (Godell) Guille.  In 1962, he married the love of his life, Carol Lory.

Harold was proud of his service in the United States Army.  For most of his life, he was a self-employed upholsterer. He lived in the Oakdale, California area for many years before falling in love with, and moving to, Montana.  He enjoyed the outdoors, particularly golfing and hunting with his friends.  He also loved to make and sell his salsa!

He was a genuine man, who said it like it was. He was incredibly kind and giving; he never knew a stranger.  He was quick to tease with a twinkle in his eye.  People knew he genuinely cared, and he never hesitated to help.  He was fiercely loyal and made sure his family never doubted his love for them.  He was quick to brag about his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren to anyone who would listen.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Violet, and his sister, Nancy Vonheeter.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Ann Guille; daughters, Tamara (Gerald) Johnson and Lory (Wade) Harrison; son, John Guille; sister, Nellie Newer; brothers, Glenn, Leroy, Leon, Eugene, and Robert Guille; and seven grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

"Thank you again for the very special service for our Dad.  We will forever appreciate your kindness, hard-work, and your ability to make his celebration of life "just right."  Everything captured our Dad's good life right down to the 'can of Coke' and the special music...wonderful memories."
